The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Elizabeth Forward Warriors (Elizabeth, PA) and the visiting Greensburg Salem Golden Lions (Greensburg, PA), observed Elizabeth Forward's basketball team overcome Greensburg Salem by a margin of 63-44.

The Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Norwin defeated Valley (New Kensington, PA), 64-42, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Lions battle the Southmoreland Scotties (Alverton, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Greensburg Salem will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Scotties come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 72-29 non-league loss to Central Valley (Monaca, PA).
