In Friday's non-league contest, the host Fannin County Rebels basketball team scored a good 51-33 triumph over the Lumpkin County Indians.
The Rebels (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gilmer (Ellijay, GA). The Bobcats go into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Gilmer was topped by Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA), 75-71, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Copper Basin Cougars (Copperhill, TN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. Lumpkin County will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 73-31 non-league loss to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA).
