Virginia High School Basketball - Grassfield holds off Franklin

The Grassfield Grizzlies basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Franklin Broncos to 49 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Friday.

The Grizzlies now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Meadowbrook for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 8.

With the loss, Franklin falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Broncos host Veritas Collegiate Academy (Chesapeake, VA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 8-3. Veritas Collegiate Academy won 81-69 in their recent non-league game against Cristo Rey (Richmond, VA)
