Virginia High School Basketball - Oscar Smith overwhelms Great Bridge

The Oscar Smith Tigers basketball team scored 111 points and limited the host Great Bridge Wildcats to 29 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Chantilly for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. Oscar Smith will confront a Chargers team coming off a 61-44 non-league loss to Seton (Manassas, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Great Bridge falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA) to confront the Patriots in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 2-5. First Colonial lost 83-79 in their recent league game against Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA)
