In Friday's league contest, the visiting Magnet Cove Panthers basketball team scored a good 57-43 triumph over the Gurdon Go-Devils.

The Panthers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Harmony Grove (Benton, AR). The Cardinals go into the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Harmony Grove topped Atkins (Atkins, AR), 43-42, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Go-Devils confront the Spring Hill Bears (Hope, AR) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Gurdon will attempt to advance on its 0-9 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 6-6 record after their 63-58 non-league loss to Genoa Central (Texarkana, AR).
