The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Robert Lee Steers (Robert Lee, TX) and the host Irion County Hornets (Mertzon, TX), observed Robert Lee's basketball team overcome Irion County by a margin of 52-38.

The Cowboys come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 50-44 non-league loss to Holy Cross (Midland, TX).
