The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA) and the visiting Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA), observed Millbrook's basketball team overwhelm Kettle Run by a margin of 94-36.

The Pioneers (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Western Albemarle trounced Goochland (Goochland, VA), 67-36, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA) in a Northwestern challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Kettle Run will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 77-43 league loss to Warren County (Front Royal, VA).
