Iowa High School Basketball - Lisbon overwhelms North Cedar

The Lisbon Lions basketball team scored 76 points and limited the visiting North Cedar Knights to 28 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Midland for a Tri-Rivers game on Friday, January 3. Lisbon will confront a Eagles team coming off a 70-23 non-league loss to Tipton (Tipton, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, North Cedar falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA) to confront the Irish in a Tri-Rivers game on Friday, January 3. The Irish go into the game with a record of 3-1.
