In Friday's league contest, the visiting Penncrest Lions basketball team scored a good 65-52 triumph over the Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers.
The Lions (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Science Leadership Academy at Beeber (Philadelphia, PA). The Rockets go into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Science Leadership Academy at Beeber topped Frankford (Philadelphia, PA), 62-58, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Fightin' Tigers confront the MAST Charter II Voyagers (Philadelphia, PA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Marple Newtown will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Voyagers go into the contest with a 2-8 record after their 63-44 league loss to Strawberry Mansion (Philadelphia, PA).
