West Virginia High School Basketball - Midland Trail nudges PikeView

December 20, 2024: Hico, WV 25854

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV) and the visiting PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV), observed Midland Trail's basketball team edge PikeView by a score of 68-65.

The Patriots (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV). The Cee-Bees come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Clay-Battelle was tipped by Marietta (Marietta, OH), 112-40, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Summit Christian Academy Falcons (Princeton, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. PikeView will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 47-40 non-league loss to Princeton (Princeton, WV).
