Pleasanton Bulldogs (Pleasanton, NE) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Overton Eagles (Overton, NE), 72-58 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Pleasanton upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Bulldogs host Wilcox-Hildreth (Wilcox, NE) to face the Falcons in a D1 District 8 match on Saturday, December 21. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 1-5. Wilcox-Hildreth won 62-55 in their recent non-league match against Arapahoe (Arapahoe, NE)

The Eagles now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Amherst for a non-league match on Friday, January 10.
