Texas High School Basketball - Sherman succumbs to Walnut Grove

In Friday's league test, the Walnut Grove Wildcats (Prosper, TX) basketball squad defeated the visiting Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX), by a final score of 63-53.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Reedy Lions (Frisco, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 28. Walnut Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 16-7 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 6-15 record after their 77-65 league loss to Lone Star (Frisco, TX).

The Bearcats (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Rockwall (Rockwall, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, Rockwall overcame Forney (Forney, TX), 57-48, in a league test.
