In Friday's league contest, the host West Mesquite Wranglers basketball team scored a big 87-20 win over the Spruce Timberwolves.
The Wranglers (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Garland (Garland, TX). The Owls come into the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Garland was trounced by Lakeview Centennial (Garland, TX), 52-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Timberwolves battle the Samuell Spartans (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 14 contest, on Friday, December 20. Spruce will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 0-15 record after their 61-22 league loss to North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX).
