In Friday's league contest, the visiting St. Charles East Fighting Saints basketball team scored a big 67-41 triumph over the St. Charles North North Stars.

The Fighting Saints (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Sandburg was trounced by Lockport (Lockport, IL), 69-42, in a league contest.

In their next game, the North Stars confront the Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. St. Charles North will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the contest with a 8-0 record after their 69-59 league win over Proviso West (Hillside, IL).
