The Patriots (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 11-7 record. In their last challenge, Dripping Springs prevailed over Bowie (Austin, TX), 65-57, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Antlers battle the Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Tuesday, December 31. Tivy will attempt to improve on its 12-11 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 80-58 league loss to Wagner (San Antonio, TX).
