Kansas High School Basketball - Santa Fe Trail defeats Anderson County

The Santa Fe Trail Chargers (Carbondale, KS) basketball were winner over the host Anderson County Bulldogs (Garnett, KS), 58-38 in Friday's league bout.

The Chargers now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Iola for a Pioneer bout on Tuesday, January 7. Santa Fe Trail will play a Mustangs team coming off a 49-35 league loss to Prairie View (La Cygne, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Anderson County falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Fredonia (Fredonia, KS) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Fredonia lost 44-36 in their recent non-league bout against West Elk (Howard, KS)
