The East Limestone Indians basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Athens Golden Eagles to 44 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now have a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Tanner for a non-league game on Friday, January 3.

With the loss, Athens falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Golden eagles host Lawrence County (Moulton, AL) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league game on Monday, December 23. The Red Devils go into the game with a record of 1-12. Lawrence County lost 48-41 in their recent non-league game against Hatton (Town Creek, AL)
