The Augusta Elks basketball team scored 42 points and limited the visiting Simms Tigers to 29 in the Elks league triumph on Friday.
The Elks now have a 1-1 record.
With the loss, Simms falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Cascade (Cascade, MT) to confront the Badgers in a C District 10 game on Friday, January 3. The Badgers go into the game with a record of 2-1. Cascade lost 60-37 in their recent non-league game against Big Sandy (Big Sandy, MT)
