The Bells Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Blue Ridge Tigers to 53 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now have a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to Leonard for a 3A Region II District 11 game on Tuesday, December 31. Bells will confront a Tigers team coming off a 50-13 league win over S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 14-8.

With the loss, Blue Ridge falls to 13-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Big Sandy (Dallardsville, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 7-3. Big Sandy lost 28-22 in their recent non-league game against Onalaska (Onalaska, TX)
