In Friday's non-league contest, the host Central Lions basketball team scored a good 43-35 triumph over the Bowdon Red Devils.
The Lions (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Mt. Zion was topped by Temple (Temple, GA), 78-26, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Woodland Wildcats (Cartersville, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. Bowdon will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 1-13 record after their 60-18 non-league loss to Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA).
