The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Fort Benton Longhorns (Fort Benton, MT) and the visiting Box Elder Bears (Box Elder, MT), observed Fort Benton's basketball team overcome Box Elder by a margin of 51-36.

The Longhorns (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Star (Rudyard, MT). The Knights come into the C District 9 challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, North Star defeated Box Elder (Box Elder, MT), 52-45, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears battle the North Star Knights (Rudyard, MT) in a C District 9 challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Box Elder will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 42-40 league win over Hays-Lodge Pole (Hays, MT).
