With the victory, Gretna advances its record to 6-2 on the year. The Hawks travel to Halifax County (South Boston, VA) to meet the Comets in a non-league battle on Friday, January 3. The Comets enter the battle with a record of 3-5.
The Bees now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glass for a Seminole battle on Tuesday, January 7.
