The Cougars now possess a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to New Braunfels for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Canyon will play a Unicorns team coming off a 57-42 league win over Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX). The Unicorns record now stands at 14-11.

With the loss, Johnson falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Jaguars host MacArthur (San Antonio, TX) to play the Brahmas in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Brahmas go into the bout with a record of 17-7.
