Mansfield Summit Jaguars (Arlington, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX), 56-37 in a league match.

With the victory, Mansfield Summit advances its record to 14-3 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Joshua (Joshua, TX) to face the Owls in a 5A Region I District 8 match on Friday, January 3. The Owls enter the match with a record of 11-9. Joshua won 46-40 in their recent league match against Cleburne (Cleburne, TX)

The Spartans now own a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pebble Hills for a non-league match on Thursday, December 26. Centennial will face a Spartans squad coming off a 61-53 league win over Eastwood (El Paso, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 13-6.
