With the victory, North Shore upgrades its record to 17-6 on the year. The Mustangs host Langham Creek (Houston, TX) to face the Lobos in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 31. The Lobos enter the match with a record of 15-7. Langham Creek won 64-38 in their recent league match against Waller (Waller, TX)

The Falcons now sport a 0-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Goose Creek Memorial for a 6A Region III District 23 match on Saturday, January 4. Channelview will face a Patriots squad coming off a 83-26 league loss to Summer Creek (Houston, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 7-11.
