In Friday's league contest, the visiting Charleston Tigers basketball team scored a big 57-35 triumph over the Cossatot River Eagles.

The Tigers (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pottsville (Pottsville, AR). The Apaches go into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Pottsville was trounced by Heber Springs (Heber Springs, AR), 43-40, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, AR) in a 3A Region 4 contest, on Friday, December 27. Cossatot River will attempt to better on its 0-17 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 65-56 league loss to Lamar (Lamar, AR).
