With the victory, Slidell advances its record to 12-4 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Chilton (Chilton, TX) to face the Pirates in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 7-7. Chilton lost 32-19 in their recent league match against Mart (Mart, TX)

The Dragons now own a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Era for a 2A Region II District 13 match on Friday, January 3.
