The Jourdanton Indians/Squaws basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Cotulla Cowboys to 24 in the Indians/Squaws league triumph on Friday.

The Indians/Squaws now have a 19-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cole for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 31. Jourdanton will confront a Cougars team coming off a 44-40 non-league loss to Navarro (Geronimo, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 13-13.

With the loss, Cotulla falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Hondo (Hondo, TX) to confront the Owls in a 3A Region IV District 28 game on Friday, January 3. The Owls go into the game with a record of 13-3.
