In Friday's league contest, the visiting Ottumwa Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 69-14 triumph over the Des Moines East Scarlets.
The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Waukee (Waukee, IA). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Waukee was trounced by Northwest (Waukee, IA), 54-39, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Scarlets battle the Fort Dodge Dodgers (Fort Dodge, IA) in a Iowa Alliance contest, on Friday, January 3. Des Moines East will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Dodgers go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 40-21 league win over Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA).
