The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Dimmitt Bobcats (Dimmitt, TX) and the visiting Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX), observed Dimmitt's basketball team overcome Muleshoe by a score of 54-41.

The Bobcats (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX). The Eagles come into the 3A Region I District 2 challenge with a 10-8 record.

In their next game, the Mules battle the Littlefield Wildcats (Littlefield, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Muleshoe will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 9-9 record after their 56-54 league loss to Shallowater (Shallowater, TX).
