The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Pea Ridge Blackhawks (Pea Ridge, AR) and the visiting Gentry Pioneers (Gentry, AR), observed Pea Ridge's basketball team knock off Gentry by a score of 61-45.

The Blackhawks (7-6) will now prepare for their bout against Providence Academy (Rogers, AR). The Patriots go into the non-league bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Providence Academy was beaten by Greenland (Greenland, AR), 59-27, in a league bout.

With the loss, Gentry falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Lincoln (Lincoln, AR) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Lincoln lost 74-54 in their recent league bout against Elkins (Elkins, AR)
