The Dragons (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Abilene (Abilene, KS). The Cowboys come into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Abilene was knocked off by Wamego (Wamego, KS), 68-23, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings encounter the Hoisington Cardinals (Hoisington, KS) in a Central Kansas challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Smoky Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 51-39 non-league win over Sterling (Sterling, KS).
