In Friday's league contest, the host Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils basketball team scored a close 49-46 win over the Richardton-Taylor Raiders.
The Black Devils (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Killdeer (Killdeer, ND). The Cowboys come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Killdeer edged New Town (New Town, ND), 45-43, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Napoleon Imperials (Napoleon, ND) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Richardton-Taylor will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record.
