In Friday's league test, the Monadnock Huskies (East Swanzey, NH) basketball squad trounced the host Hillsboro-Deering Hillcats (Hillsboro, NH), by a score of 65-26.

Next, the Huskies clash with the Newport Tigers (Newport, NH) in a Division III test, on Friday, January 3. Monadnock will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 3-1 record after their 52-28 league win over Stevens (Claremont, NH).

The Hillcats (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Raymond (Raymond, NH). The Rams come into the Division III test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Raymond was routed by Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH), 56-27, in a league test.
