The Lakeland Cavaliers basketball squad (Suffolk, VA), was crushed 67-28 in Friday's league battle with the host Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA)
With the victory, Western Branch advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Bruins host King's Fork (Suffolk, VA) to meet the Bulldogs in a Southeastern battle on Friday, January 10. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 3-1.
The Cavaliers now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norcom for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 21. Lakeland will meet a Greyhounds squad coming off a 52-28 league win over Churchland (Portsmouth, VA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 2-3.
