In Friday's league contest, the host Riverside Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 44-38 triumph over the Logan-Magnolia Panthers.
The Bulldogs (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sidney (Sidney, IA). The Cowboys go into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Sidney nipped Griswold (Griswold, IA), 54-38, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the AHSTW Vikings (Avoca, IA) in a Western Iowa contest, on Friday, January 3. Logan-Magnolia will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record.
