North Carolina High School Basketball - West Lincoln overwhelmed by Maiden

In Friday's league test, the Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) basketball squad trounced the host West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC), by a score of 66-19.

Next, the Blue Devils encounter the West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC) in a 2A Catawba Valley test, on Tuesday, January 7. Maiden will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 1-6 record after their 46-32 league loss to Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC).

The Rebels (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Trojans come into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Bandys was routed by East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC), 49-36, in a league test.
