California High School Basketball - Valley Christian Academy triumphant over Maricopa

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Valley Christian Academy Lions (Santa Maria, CA) and the host Maricopa Indians (Maricopa, CA), observed Valley Christian Academy's basketball team overwhelm Maricopa by a score of 85-2.

The Lions (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Coastal Christian (Pismo Beach, CA). The Conquerors come into the Coast Valley challenge with a 6-0 record.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Coastal Christian Conquerors (Pismo Beach, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Maricopa will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Conquerors go into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 80-3 league win over Cuyama Valley (New Cuyama, CA).
