The Mira Costa Mustangs basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting West Warriors to 55 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now have a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Legacy for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. Mira Costa will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 52-3 league win over Bonanza (Las Vegas, NV). The Longhorns record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, West falls to 11-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Camarillo (Camarillo, CA) to confront the Scorpions in a non-league game on Monday, December 23. The Scorpions go into the game with a record of 4-5. Camarillo lost 68-58 in their recent non-league game against South Pasadena (South Pasadena, CA)
