In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Temple Tigers basketball team scored a big 78-26 triumph over the Mt. Zion Eagles.
The Tigers (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against South Paulding (Douglasville, GA). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, South Paulding smashed Bowdon (Bowdon, GA), 54-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 30. Mt. Zion will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 38-36 non-league loss to Model (Rome, GA).
