The Spartans now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Millard West for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 21. Pleasant Valley will play a Wildcats team coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Muscatine falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Muskies travel to Bettendorf (Bettendorf, IA) to play the Bulldogs in a Mississippi bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Bettendorf won 60-57 in their recent non-league bout against Rock Island (Rock Island, IL)
