In Friday's non-league contest, the host Osage Green Devils basketball team scored a good 41-25 triumph over the Nashua-Plainfield Huskies.

The Green Devils (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Wapsie Valley topped Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA), 41-33, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA) in a Corn Bowl contest, on Saturday, December 21. Nashua-Plainfield will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Bearcats go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 63-53 non-league loss to Janesville (Janesville, IA).
