The Newport Tigers (Newport, NH) basketball crushed the visiting Stevens Cardinals (Claremont, NH), 52-28 in Friday's league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Monadnock for a Division III bout on Friday, January 3. Newport will play a Huskies team coming off a 65-26 league win over Hillsboro-Deering (Hillsboro, NH). The Huskies record now stands at 3-0.
