The Starkville Yellowjackets basketball team scored 75 points and limited the visiting Olive Branch Conquistadors to 43 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hancock for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Starkville will confront a Hawks team coming off a 45-39 non-league win over St. Martin (Ocean Springs, MS). The Hawks record now stands at 12-1.

With the loss, Olive Branch falls to 10-6 on the campaign. The Conquistadors travel to Overton (Memphis, TN) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. The Wolverines go into the game with a record of 5-1. Overton won 95-6 in their recent non-league game against Hillcrest (Memphis, TN)
