North Carolina High School Basketball - South Columbus can't get by Pender

December 20, 2024: Tabor City, NC 28463

The South Columbus Stallions basketball squad (Tabor City, NC), was nudged 34-28 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC)

With the victory, Pender advances its record to 1-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC) to meet the Eagles in a 1A/2A Waccamaw battle on Friday, January 3. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 9-1.

The Stallions now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Bladen for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 2. South Columbus will meet a Knights squad coming off a 41-32 non-league loss to Farmville Central (Farmville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 2-6.
