The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) and the visiting Randleman Tigers (Randleman, NC), observed Southwestern Randolph's basketball team knock off Randleman by a score of 42-25.

The Cougars (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Chatham Charter was knocked off by Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC), 53-28, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 26. Randleman will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 60-33 non-league loss to Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC).
