The Weimar Wildcats (Weimar, TX) basketball were winner over the host Schulenburg Shorthorns (Schulenburg, TX), 46-36 in Friday's league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Seguin for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 26. Weimar will play a Matadors team coming off a 41-27 league win over Jefferson (San Antonio, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 8-13.
