In Friday's non-league test, the Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO) basketball squad defeated the host Wiggins Tigers (Wiggins, CO), by a final score of 42-34.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Merino Rams (Merino, CO) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 21. Sedgwick County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 5-0 record after their 50-17 non-league win over Prairie (New Raymer, CO).
