The Taylor County Vikings nipped the visiting Upson-Lee Knights basketball squad by a final score of 48-43 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Wilkinson County Warriors (Irwinton, GA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, December 21. Taylor County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-0 season record. The Warriors enter the outing with a 0-8 record after their 73-33 non-league loss to Dublin (Dublin, GA).

The Knights (2-7) will now prepare for their outing against LaGrange (LaGrange, GA). The Grangers enter the AAA Region 2 outing with a 1-9 record.
