The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Valley Cavaliers (Bingham, ME) and the host Telstar Rebels (Bethel, ME), observed Valley's basketball team overwhelm Telstar by a score of 78-15.

The Cavaliers (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Piscataquis (Guilford, ME). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Piscataquis was routed by Orono (Orono, ME), 44-32, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rebels encounter the Forest Hills Tigers (Jackman, ME) in a D South challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Telstar will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 55-25 league win over Temple Academy (Waterville, ME).
